That’s right! Tell me, what can be better than BBQ-ing in the sun, with a bunch of fun-loving people, enjoying your burnt chicken wing and mushroom with cheese, with the sweet strummings of guitar in the background? (except for God Himself of course)
It was on the 28th June 2009 when we invaded Zoe and David Chan’s place for a great time of fellowship and feasting.

The scene in the beginning of us trying hard to light the fire and keep the fire burning the charcoals reminded me that no matter how hard we try ourselves to light up the fire in us, it will be in vain without the Holy Spirit, Who, like the wind, spreads the fire, sustains it and makes it flare up even more.
And it is no use burning ashes, no use living on past, old experiences. You’ve got to add new coal (praying and reading His Word), have new experiences with God and a fresh anointing from the Holy Spirit everyday, so you can keep burning for God!
All of us really enjoyed ourselves. Even though we all filled our stomachs full, there were still LOTS of leftovers.
And thank God for the good sunny weather! The weather forecast said it was going to rain, and even thunderstorm? But nope, not a single dark cloud in the sky.
Thank God for the great time that we had. He’s so so good!
